Raffles
Question
We have a stall at a 3 day county event and have been offered some bikes to raffle. The event is over 3 days and we would like to raffle two bikes every day. Do we have to sell the tickets for a particular draw or can people buy a ticket for all six draws, so that we can keep selling tickets until the last draw takes place?

Answer
There is a basic principle that everyone has to have an equal chance to win - so if you sold tickets that were for all 3 raffles and people buying in the last day only had a chance in one, there would not be an equal chance between them and the people who had bought earlier. You really need to have separate tickets for each day, maybe colour code them so people on the earlier days can buy chances in each day. You will need to keep within all the usual draw regulations and print tickets properly - no cloak room tickets or the like - with the required details on them. Hope that helps.
