Several of our fundraising and development staff have attended Gareth's fundraising training courses and without exception, all have found them extremely useful and inspirational. Training with Gareth 'inhouse', has also been extremely valuable."

I have sixteen years experience in the Voluntary sector. I started as  a volunteer with Oxfam and NSPCC before joining the Donor Development Team at Crisis, the charity for homeless people. I moved to RNIB to take up a role as Database Marketing Coordinator producing analysis from their Visual Alms database. I now have a part-time job as Database Marketing Manager at an international development charity, producing analysis and managing the database. I spend the rest of my time developing my own business, selling artwork and modern design furniture.

Fundraising Inflation
25 May 2008
I'd like to know how many fundraisers take into account the cost of inflation in their planning or asks. I work for an organisation that holds a Christmas concert. For the past few years the ticket price has been between £16 and £20 depanding on the seat location. Every year the event sells out but ticket prices have remained static. I think, at the least, prices should be increased by inflation (about 3% per year.) How many of you fundraisers out there, increase prices to take into account rising inflation? I'd be interested to hear the results.
